Lower radiator hose replace 2002 e350 superduty v10

Any "how to's" or tips. Bought a class c rv and it's the last thing I'd like to do before I set sail. The hose has 4 ends on it.

my 2007 has 310,000 miles on it. How about yours?

a guy that used to frequent this forum had a fleet of Ford vans and he would tell us stories about how rarely parts failed. Radiator hoses were on his "never fail" list. Most of his fleet was in the range of 700,000 to a million + miles. DelGriffith was his username.

I respect your viewpoint, and i wish you the best of luck and enjoyment if you do it. But i say Don't Sweat It if this project moves back further on your procrastination list.

maybe I'll change the upper since it looks pretty easy and throw the lower in a storage bin...

I just hit 25k

I have a 2012 E350 with 380K hwy miles on it. I was under the van working on a leak of the trans coolant lines at the base of the radiator and noticed 2 places on the lower radiator hose where it showed wear and WILL fail. Inspect your hoses! Its recommended to replace hoses after 4 years, but at least inspect them. I never describe a part as a "never fail".
