Need help please!

I have a 79 Ford F100 with a 390. I put a new 4 barrel intake manifold and carb on it recently, but now I have coolant and fuel in the oil pan. What's going on???

Sounds like the intake gasket didn't seal, which would account for the coolant. The only thing I can think of for the fuel is possibly the fuel pump might be going. Anybody else?

x2 for the install. Remove and check everything carefully. I always use the manifold gaskets with rtv beads arund the coolant passages, dont use the rubber or cork gaskets for the manifold to block seal, just thick bead of rtv.

double check the manifold for cracks, if its aluminum they are very easy to crack if you installed incorrectly.

a new untuned carb can run extremely rich pushing fuel into the pan. Fuel pump can cause this as well.

the 390 FE series engines came in several versions, among them are :hi-rise, and low-rise.
that means ports are big or small.
the heads and intake must match. did you happen to notice if the runners in the intake were a lot bigger than the ports in the heads?
