My 2011 F-350 6.7L is developing a whine especially when I have some turbo boost on it, say 10 pounds or so. I am towing a 12,000 lb fifth wheel and am 3,000 miles from home, so I am worried about the condition of the turbo and those ceramic bearings that I have heard about with the early turbos. The truck has 95,000 miles on it. I believe that the turbo is still under extended warranty. I'm in Oregon and it is really tough to get into a dealer now with all of the vacationers still around. Anybody dealt with this?
