Gasp!! Wheeze!!! Choke!!! I'm 58 and, among other activities ,have been a hot rodder and truck enthusiast since I was 14. My first car: 1946 Ford coupe, flathead V8, milled heads, "3/4" cam, lincoln valve springs, homemade headers, straight pipes, lightened flywheel, 1939 Ford truck transmission. I paid a whole seventy five bucks for the car!!! All the goodies I put on it cost about a hundred as they were all used. It sure was fun to circle the block the high school was on in first gear with those straight pipes.
