Just about every time I take my 1979 F250 4x4 out for a tour I get some sort of comment about her. More from older fellas than younger but I do get comments from the younger crowd too, and lots of people waving when I pass by. Oh yeah and my 16 year old daughter and her friends just love my truck . Heck she said she would disown me if I sold it!
I have two sons both like the looks of the older cars/trucks but my oldest (16yr) sees them as a way to get from A to B, the youngest(13yr) enjoys working on them and wants to customize them to make them what he wants. He really wanted me to find him a 60s truck for his first car but those are getting hard to find. I kinda hope after working on the 78 he takes it away from me as his first truck when he starts to drive.
My youngest is one more like me and loves to take things apart and working with our hands on stuff. Hoping he becomes a engineer or something like that so he can always do this kind of stuff.
