Diesel starters
Can any one tell me the difference between diesel starters for 1984 and 1985 6.9 Ford trucks? I would like to find a Mitsubishi or Nippondenso gear reduction starter that will fit my 84 6.9. (PS. engine was built in Nov. of 83) Thank you Dan.

The 9050 Powermaster starter is suppose to be a good one, My BIL installed one in his 83, and it flat turns it over.
Good one on how to replace one.
