What a shame to see one so butchered. What have you done with the whitewalls, dog-dish wheel covers and the 144 six? You've ruined the bed with those tubs. I suppose you've killed the room in the front with a floor shifter, or worse yet, bucket seats.
Well, that's what my old man might have said.
That is a great looking Ranchero! Will it pull the front wheels on launch?

"Pull the front wheels"? Hmm, I wonder... Some questions just have to be answered!
I wish I knew the specs. It has what looks like a Carter AFB, high rise intake, headers and a 3 speed auto, (C4?). I have not had it up in the air, but a quick glance under the rear tells me it is a Ford 9 inch with shortened axles. And last, but not least, a seriously dirty intake filter. I'll know a lot more after this weekend.
I like it. Do you have poppers for the doors? Sort of a 50's shaved/pro street blend. Looks like a lot of fun.

Yes, thee are remote electric door buttons. I like the shaved look, but the monochrome is starting to get to me already. My wife mentioned, the other day, she thought the color is a little bland. Well, not being one to waste an opportunity, I suggested a darker color. It was agreed, Harley Davidson Metallic Candy Root beer with accent striping in the current color. That way I don't have to redo the interior. It will probably be this time next year, before it gets done. Too many things going on right now.
Carter AFB? You're old like me. I still call 'em that, too.
Yep! Been around a couple days. I think it was Shakespeare who siad, "a rose by any other name". It doesn't make any difference who bought what, when. If they didn't change anything but the name on the box, it's still a Carter!
