I currently have a 26' bumper pull Jayco Travel Trailer, with the standard 7 pin connector. A couple days ago, I rented a 5x8 enclosed from UHaul that used the standard 4-pin connector.
1/2 way through my trip, I was looked at the "Trailer" menu and noticed I was accumulating miles under my "Jayco" trailer while pulling the UHaul. I immediately selected No Active Trailer to stop those miles from accumulating.
My question is, why would decide that just because I had a 4 pin lighting connector plugged in, that I was pulling my TT? Aren't these trucks smart enough to know which lighting connector is being used?
