After weeks of using the site builder I finally sealed the deal and ordered my truck. Will be the first Ford I ever owned. Went to the dealer this morning to finish getting my questions answered and get the numbers where I wanted them. Going for the F350 XL Super Cab in Silver 8' bed 4x4 6.2L. Couldn't pass up the SD - looked really tough online and even better in person.
I'd list all the packages and options but you have probably seen it a million times before. I will be busy at work so that will help the time go buy until it arrives.

No, the time will just creep by. For me it was 8½ weeks from order to delivery. Just got it yesterday. It was my first Ford too, 'though I helped my son buy his new Fusion some years back.

That didn't help me. I was trying to psych myself out.
My wait was one day shy of 10 from the time I first went in to the dealer to place my order. They actually didn't place it for a week so technically one day shy of 9. And as glrret said once it got here the wait didn't seem like very long at all. Best of luck on a short wait and congrats on the new truck.
Got my list in front of me. It seems to be getting longer fast. May have to step away from the PC for a while.
I was the smart one of the group, I built my truck online submitted it to the dealer THEN I joined the forum. By doing it that way I saved thousands of dollars.

Congratulations on ordering the new truck. My SD is also my first Ford and my first Diesel. You'll love the truck. Please post pics when you receive the truck. Enjoy!
