What is the best fuel mileage any has got on a 93 F250, reg cab, 7.3 non turbo IDI?

 

Can't remember back that far!! Had a '92 250 IDI and then installed the Banks Turbo kit on it but can't remember fuel numbers.

 

93 f350 4.10, 5 speed. Best,18 towing 10 to 11. It's a slug.

 

Towing about 10 or 11. Empty 18 at best. It's a slug, especially at altitude.

 

You may as well get out and walk,than drive an N/A diesel.
Fuel economy is no worry.Mid teens.Towing on flat is actually easy too but as soon as the truck sees a little incline,it will feel like your brakes are dragging.Diesel's belonged turbocharged.Easy enough to turbo the IDI though with a used kit for 1k or less.

 

I know mines a 7.3 banks turbo but I’ll get 22-23 empty at 63mph
