Thumbs down USB PORT power

Has anyone tried to tap into any of the USB ports to have constant power even when the truck is off? It is frustrating to me to have this truck with every optoin including the ones that i didn't want, but cannot charge my phone if my truck is turned off.

I plugged a dual-port high-current USB adapter into the power point inside our truck's center console (front, right, bottom). I believe it remains powered for 75 minutes after the truck's ignition is turned off. The 75 minute time may also apply to the other power points; don't know about the USB ports.

Hmmm... I'm running a 75 minute confirmation test in our truck right now. So far, so good. More in an hour or so...

I just had to run a quick errand and so had to cut the experiment short. However, after ~60 minutes, the center console power point was still on.

May a bum setting in the (body module?). The dealer should be able to do an update, or FORscan allows for a broad range of settings.

Using FORScan you can change the settings so the power to the rear plugs (USB and 110v) can be on 24/7

Ford has a bulletin on early build 2017 models for the timing, they will update the BCM software for free, that should get you what others are reporting if you don't want to go the Forscan route.
