Console Shenanigans from a while back

This is a link to my post over in 99+.... guy built me a mean console I really like.
I figure if we approached him with a group buy we might get a deal worked out on center consoles and rear storage for a group of us. Group buys tend to lower prices... i don't know if enough folks on FTE want these to do it... so here I am.
Doing this may increase my chances of getting him to start offering overhead consoles too. But that's a whole other subject if your interested.

HEY! Glad to hear that, what part of that interests you... overhead console? center console? rear storage drawers with locks?
personal goal for me: create a batch market for him to build overhead consoles...
bonus: maybe create a group buy for bad *** consoles built to order.
Potential is here... this guy can do it for OBS, Excursion, Bronco, you friggin name it.
I would love to see an Excursion or Crew cab with 4 buckets and a console down the middle like the center section of a Humvee... you could store food, water, weapons, ammunition... name it man...

I need to take a tally of who all may be interested in a group buy so shout out in here and let me know what your looking for... never headed up a group buy before but I am confident I can gather the info and present it to him. I purchase a lot of materials and negotiate contracts and material quotes for a chemical plant every day... this shouldn't be any different.
if there is some sort of a tool in this forum I can use to create said event and manage it I am unaware of it... like a vote counter or what have you.

I really like that and would be interested, however my concern would be for those who have converted to an F-650 dash, unfortunately (myself included).

I am not sure if HDPE will take paint, it is a high density petroleum based product... it would require some pretty serious prep and the finish would likely not be ideal... but heck... if you can paint this stuff that opens new categories hahah
