Anybody received a private cash offer rebate lately? I've requested several brochures in the last couple weeks and no dice. The new truck is about a week and a half out so I'll keep requesting until then. When I purchased my 2015 F150 I got one with my first brochure request.
I requested one a few weeks before my truck was to arrive. When it came, with the coupon, I wasn't sure the truck would be here before it expired, so I ordered another in my wife's name. I read somewhere one per household, and sure enough when it came in her name, no coupon.
BTW, the dealership knew I had it before I even mentioned it, so they do track it.
I was checking the Ford website the other day and a pop up window appeared with a Private cash offer of $750. I immediately registered for it and the coupon was emailed to me instantly. Awesome. Its good until 9/17/17. Hopefully my truck arrives before then (Ordered 7/7/17).
Also I had my wife request brochures and she just received one in the mail for $500 good until October.
Long story short just keep requesting brochures and going onto the website.
I sent off for a printed brochure about 10 days ago and also signed up for the Ford email offers and such at the same time. I was starting to get a little worried since my F450 was built on July 27 and nothing has appeared in my mailbox yet. Bless my soul I got an email from Ford this morning with the private offer good for $1500 Cash Back or 84 month financing at 7.9% APR on any SD. Offer is good until Oct 2. I'm assuming I can stack this $1500 on top of the $2500 cash offer listed on Ford's web site for the 2017 Ford F450 Platinum--along with my military service offer and any other offer that I can think of.
That's what I thought! That sure makes the cash vs. loan decision really easy!
Borrow the minimum of $8K, pay it down to $0, or the amount it takes to keep paying for 4 months to keep the dealer happy the first day that you can, then get the $750 cash back.

This is an "either/or" deal. I'll take the "or" on this one (cash) and skip the "generous" 7.9% APR offer.
