I'm now looking at spacer kits, as I'm told all the coil spring lifts available are for diesels, and none of the manufacturers know how much they will lift a gas truck, best guess was 3-3.5", and I'm thinking that may be too high. Anyway, the spacer kits come with a rubber buffer to reduce noise because the spacer is not bolted down like on Dodge. Has anyone had trouble with noise/ squeaking or the rubber wearing out?
IDK, I took mine to my local 4 Wheel drive parts store, told them I wanted it leveled. They installed the leveling kit with everything needed to make it ride right. Mine drives damn near like stock.
Thanks guys, did you install track and sway bar brackets and castor shims as well?
I did not, but that was many years ago before really anyone knew you had to do that. Literally, it was a couple of pucks and associated hardware. I believe most leveling kits snow offer track bar brackets and caster shims however.
