It would take arms larger than mine to compress them into their seats. Watch the Fox Shock video to see how I used a floor jack to compress the shock. The OEM shocks were no problem.

To clarify.... by 'ranchos' are you referring to the OEM 'rancho branded' FX4 shocks??? Or, are they aftermarket ranchos???
