Hey guys, new to the forum. I have just purchased a 1950 f7 truck. I am going thru the brakes. I am looking for a Front brakes spring. Two if I can find them. I have a pic here of the one I am looking for. Anybody know were I can get them? Thanks, Pat.
Welcome aboard!

Hmmm, surprises me. Your part number is 7EQ 2035 and is shown for the Big Jobs 1948 to 1963 (maybe later since my references stop in 1963). None are shown available in the Parts Voice dealer search application. Bill (Number Dummy) has other dealer search options too so maybe he'll drop by to comment. And while Chuck may have already checked with his friend James (formerly of Job Lot), you might contact James at his new site, Gotham Auto Parts, which as I understand is an eBay store. Stu
Hey Truckdog. Thanks for the part #. I have been in contact with Gotham. They don't have anything either. Saving the part # so maybe can cross it with something. Thanks.
I've looked in every industry reference I've got and couldn't find a cross reference part number for the 7EQ 2035. I think you might be down to measuring a spring to match by size, or finding a good used spring. Somebody like Bendix, Wagner, Rockwell, Eaton or others it would seem would use a similar spring that could be found through suppliers like Euclid, BWP, and others. Stu
Thanks Stu. Yea, I found a set that are the right length and have alot of tension but are only half the diameter. Also found another spring that fit inside that one for more tension. Seems pretty strong. I am going to try those until I find the right one.
