I'm hoping that someone knows for sure but I have a 78 f-150 with the bed off a 75 and it needs a patch welded into the bed floor. I wanted to double check that the bed floors from 73 to 96/97 were the same cosmetically. I know where a solid enough bed is to cut the patch panel out of is it's just off a 94.

i made custom floor pans for my 88 and recently my 76. Pretty damn close, at least enough for me to have some deja vu the second time around. However its not gonna be an exact throw in but seeing as how you gotta cut anyhow im sure you can make it work. I could be wrong on this last thing but i think the pans are thicker on the 78 than the 97. Not sure about aftermarket but oem i think was 22gauge for the 88 and 18 on the 1976.
