Success. I fabricated a temporary wire harness from the ignition module to the distributor and coil and this appears to have solved the problem. I had someone turn the engine over and I can really verify there was spark. Not only to the distributor but to me also. At 66 it always does a body good to have a reboot. The engine did fire but I did not start it. We are in the process of moving and I want to spend more time with the engine when I start it as it is new. Hopefully Tuesday I will actually start it and allow it to run.
Even though I has checked for continuity in the wires, bot unconnected and connected to the distributor and the module, one of them was not making contact when the system was completely assembled. It has to be one of the three wires going to the distributor, as I always had power to the coil.
I know I can purchase the 4 prong end of the harness that connects to the module, but I think I will just purchase the complete harness.
Glad you figured it out. I didn't know there was a source for an ignition wiring harness. Did you find it somewhere or are you just wanting to buy it if available?
If there are a couple of partial messages it is because I moved my PC and it went crazy. I found the harness at 4wheelparts.com. Part number 30812. A Duraspark II Ignition harness. The picture shows the harness from the module to the distributor and coil.
It is $160.00.
I am also glad I solved the issue. It was beginning to wear me out.

I am guessing that is the Painless wiring harness they talk about on here for that $$
I think someone posted where you can get the plug ends and if that is so it might be best to make your own for under $160
Just checked Google and Summit Racing has it for $160 painless

I believe Advance Auto has one of the connectors, part number BWD PT5619 for around $20.00. I have not found the the others, but I will look for them soon. Now that I have spark it is time to start the new engine. Unfortunately it will be Tuesday.
