3.0L Taurus/Sable Only EEC
Hi all,
I went to pick up the 5.0l engine and AOD transmission I had removed from a 1987 E150 today and got a bit of a surprise. There were a few items I wanted from the van including the EEC and when I fished it out of the dash it had a sticker on it saying "3.0L Taurus/Sable Only" on it.
What's up with that? I don't think there is any funny business going on with the guy I bought the van from or the wrecker who did the removal for me.
Other id #s on the EEC include GT, H7E05, EEC-IV, EFI-SD22B, and E7TF-12A650-AT1A. This does not match the Cardone #s on Rock Auto.
