The bezel would need to be cut. I've got an already hacked spare bezel so there is no love lost there.

I'm going to put two small ones on the inside panel next to your head. ( Holes are already there unfortunately ) and two larger ones in the doors.
Would you recommend different placement?

I concur with JEFFAFA on MB Quartz but most any good brand of speaker will get the job done. I prefer Kenwood components. Don't like JVC or Pioneer.
Btw, I got some low buck Boss speakers from Walmart Online for my custom boombox and that model came with crossovers. They sound really good. 'Haven't thought much about speaker placement except for putting a self-powered subwoofer underneath the Bronco center console of the LBB. I might bite the bullet and get a highliner for speaker placement.

2X. Part number H-421. This will give you highs and mid highs up high. Bringing the soundstage up. But adding better speakers to it might be a good idea. The ones that come with it only handle 10 watts.

I just took this out of my 69. If anyone is thinking of buying one of these and installing them don't make the same mistake my PO did. DON'T DRILL THROUGH THE ROOF !!
I had built a custom box with two Tymphany piston style subs and 2 Coustic separates. I didn't want to cut in to my doors. Trouble is that the soundstage is too low to sound good. When I eventually get my Bump on the road I will buy a H-421.

Whenever I am building a Home Speaker project I get all my parts from www.parts-express.com. They carry a HUGE amount of electronics, drivers, etc. Plus they always have a bunch of blow out specials. Just about anything you can imagine. Hio, I suggest you go there and check out part numbers 267-5056 and 265-349 or 265-347 for your powered sub. The Boss 265-349 and 265-347 are advertised as being able to mount under seats.
Quickly add a powerful subwoofer to your ride with Dual's ALB12 12" powered subwoofer. The tuned port enclosure and 300 watt built-in amplifier pumps out a lot of bass with taking up space, making it ideal for cars, trucks, and SUVs.

Thanks HIO, Jeff. Long way from doing it but I'll get there. I have the Radio now.
If anyone decides to use their cell phones to supply tunes to their bluetooth stereo, better turn off sound notifications to you cell phone apps. If you get a text message while blasting Ted Nugent or Hank Williams, the "beep" notification sounds will blow your speakers and/or ear drums.
Ok so here is the AM FM I just picked up for my 69 F100. I pulled it out of what I was told was a '76. It is a Panasonic model CR-1704. Can someone point to a site I can order the ***** for it?
If you can't find ***** that fit , you can use the Ford wiper **** that has an allen wrench screw . then it will match with the other ***** on dash .
I did this on my 66 Mustang radio .

Mike, what did you do for the bezel ****? This has an inner bezel and an outer ****. The difficult part is they are split shaft not D shaft.
