That makes no sense. They are either stock or modified.

Who makes them? All I can think of would be something still split-shot with a different nozzle like I have. Unless they are just saying they were rebuilt from a used injector?

I believe it's just mainly a larger nozzle that is added to the stock injector. That being said, I know as far as Nate/Unlimited Diesel goes, he goes thru the injectors, as I would suspect that most top injector builders do. This includes Flow testing and balancing every set, new O-rings etc, before they leave his shop.
On edit; A 30% nozzle is typically what is done to this type of AD (split shot) injector. They flow about 30cc's more of fuel than the stock injector while having the ability to run the stock hpop with them.

Very happy with them. I got a set of special tunes from Gearhead for them and usually use the "light tow" tune. little to no smoke unless i really lug it.

I am unsure if I would purchase them over a larger injector or not if ordering from a vendor. I bought them used locally at a price that was too good to pass up. here is a link to the thread about them and the current state of my truck. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-install.html

could you PM me as I am getting my tuning done by Gearhead and I have close to the same setup as you and Gearhead might ask for what tuning you had done. they might ask for your info.

I will send a pm also. All I told them was that they were reman splitshots with a larger nozzle. From my discussion with them they made a few small adjustments from the base file they use for a stock truck.

Edit It says you have PM's turned off... actually here is the email i sent them. they already had the rest of my info about the truck.

"Morning guys,
I just got a set of swamps split shot injectors with a 30% oversize nozzle. Do you have any files made for these or just the stock files?"
