Thanks Harrier I get all kinds of pics on the web for the way they are to fit. Will check with some guru's in Joplin today on the lenght of cable. Are you going to make it down for the swap meet in a couple weeks ?

An update on the brake cable. I had the shoes on backwards no wonder my toes were pinched. Switched them around and the world is good again. Thanks all for the input. As you can see with the time between each post that I don't get out in the shop much. I have ordered posie rear spings and all to set in with the new rear end it should drop it about 3".

I never even thought of that! If one of the pictures had the pinion showing it in I would have noticed it right away. I remember looking at the shoes for direction and I couldn't find any clues in any of the pictures. I guess I should have said something anyway.

Thanks for the follow-up and glad you got it sorted out.
