Having issues with the radio staying on even after shut off, Have an aftermarket stereo. Did the wd40 on the driver side and opened all doors that didnt fix it. Also power locks dont work on the doors except for drivers door and the front passenger power window cuts out periodically. And the driver seat controls do not work either. Had to replace the alternator 2x on the truck since February '17 but i recently upgraded to a 200 watt amp thinking that would help some but that didnt fix those problems.

 

What do your grounds on frame sides look like? Fuses are good and pushed in all the way? Are you getting 12v + at batteries and 14v+ at alternator? How old are your batteries?

 

The batteries are new replaced them when the last alternator went cablooie. Not sure about the grounds and the batteries and alternator power outputs are good

 

Check the GEM for water intrusion, loose connection, corroded connections.

 

You don't say what year your truck is. One of the symptoms of a failing VSM on 2002-2003 trucks is the radio no longer shuts off until the accessory delay times out.
