Im debating between the Kenwood DNX773S and the Pioneer 8200NEX. Im looking for offline maps in case of losing cell service, etc. Dont want to spend a fortune.
If you have an Android phone you could look into an Android Auto receiver which would then have Google Maps with turn by turn navigation. I've been using it for two months now, and after some initial issues (JVC not Google), have found it to work quite flawlessly. It's nice to be able to switch to Maps, "OK Google" "Show me the nearest Chinese Restaurants", get a listing with review stars for the 10 closest, then get directions and switch back to Spotify while the directions come up on the Spotify screen.

Awesome enjoy! If you have any install questions feel free to ask.I did the whole backup camera thing splicing into the reverse light cable behind the fuse panel and powering it off the reverse light on the driver side. Make sure to also order a parking brake bypass from Amazon otherwise you'll have to tap into that wire as well to setup Android Auto.Good luck! Looks like a nice unit.

Cool! I just did a cheap Chinese one from Amazon. It was easy to install. JVC has a reverse wire on their HUs. Once I found the switched backup lamp wire behind the fuse panel it was a piece of cake to install.
8200NEX all the way. I have 8100NEX in my truck and its a great unit. I tried the Kenwood in my buddies truck and the Pioneer is better in every single way.
