A 6.2 Towing Thread
I have a thread over in the 6.2 forum but thought it might be good here for those wondering what the new 6.2 with Torqueshift-G transmission and 4.30 gears. I thought it might get buried in all the PSD goodness here so I didn't post it at first.

It's in my signature but stats on the truck are the following:
2017 F250 Lariat CCSB 6.2 w/4.30 gears
Lariat Ultimate
FX4 Package
Camper Package
LEER 100XR Topper
Getting a footprint gas pedal installed soon...
i love this truck but i wish i had gotten the trailer tire pressure sensors because its been so hot in some places i've been checking tire pressures at every stop. i hate trailer tire blow outs. The TPMS would be good for piece of mind...

Yeah, we do LOVE our EX and hope to keep it pulling strong for another 6/7 years until we retire and move up to a Class A to do some full timing. It currently serves as our dedicated tow rig for our 41' 11,000lb TT, it took a bit of work and some new goodies to get it to be a truly fine tow vehicle for the big TT.
I too hate trailer tire issues, have had enough of them to last a lifetime. We are currently using the TST 507RV TPMS with 8 flow through sensors to monitor tire pressures and temps on the EX and TT. It performs very well and even with the long TT we don't need a signal booster. We just last month replaced all of the sensor batteries, after 3.5 years a couple started to go dead, now all are good to go again. A few of our camping friends have the same TPMS system, all are reporting very good results with it.
Your 41' tt is only 11k? That must not be your gvwr?
Just got back from a trip after seeing a new 40' Raptor. Wow, what a trailer. It's gvwr was 19k!
Now that's Big
Our TT is a '14 Jayco Eagle Premier 338RETS triple slide, the actual box is "only" 38' but from where the drawbar enters the EX's receiver hitch to the TT's rear bumper is just a couple inches shy of 41'. The GVWR is 10,950 lbs and we have it loaded right up to that amount for most trips, we keep it pretty well stocked. Toyhaulers have much higher GVWRs and heavier frames to carry the extra weight of the loaded toys, our old 31' TH had a GVWR of 13,200 lbs. I think the heaviest fiver TH I've seen had a GVWR of 21K, it was a giant rig for sure!
