2nd 12v outlet on dash - disabled? factory option?

I have two 2003 E350 one was incomplete (build out by a transport/RV outfitter) the second a Club Wagon. neither one has power to the 2nd 12v outlet in the dash (located under the cigar lighter one with the contoured cover). Anyone seen this? I am not able to find it in the fuse chart either but was guessing maybe it is listed as Power Point #2 - fuse 33, on both these vehicles that fuse slot is unused (fuses just fall out if you try to install one, like there are no terminals in there).

inquiring minds want to know...

I'm in the same but but haven't really done much research on it.
I have an EVTM and will look into it this weekend.
I've been lazy about this.

Edit :
I have a 2004 and just looked it up
mine has 4 fuses inside
# 26 , 29 , 32 , 34

I'll check tomorrow

thanks ppl! interesting 33 comes up on your list too it will not hold a fuse on either of these vans... 26 on my chart is listed as Unused and has no ability to hold a fuse either same with 29. I will try to follow the wires back from that outlet today see if they're traceable.

update: looked at the wires coming out of the connector to the dead outlet in the dash, green/yellow & black, they go straight into a section of wire loom with the wires from the upper (working) outlet. I took a shot and looked at some of the wires coming out of the back of the fuse panel and found a rainbow of about 25 wires that are not the ones I am looking for!

is there good chance they do not run straight (home run) to the fuse panel anyway? now I am in Terrier mode: dig, dig, dig, growl; 'don't bother me!', dig... hehe

At that link for 2002-2003 fuse panel fuse 23 is a 20A and serves Cigar Lighter and DLC. Do you think that cigar lighter is the top outlet with the contoured cover? (I have just been assuming that it is, the fuse is good and that outlet works). 33 & 39 are both empty fuse slots on this panel. I bet 28 serves the rear outlet driver's side 1st row of seating... at this point its mostly a an exercise in 'whats the logic here, what am I missing'. for a practical solution I will just run it off of the same 2 wires that serve the upper outlet (which I never use because I don't like to lift the cover and have it flap down on the accessory cord I am plugging in...)

great mind share! thanks.

My outlet in a chevy astro is bad but both outlets hook together behind the trim and run off the same fuse. I'd think it could be too much of a draw but I guess not. One works while the other kaput. Have you checked to make sure there is no power coming to the second outlet?
