I was hoping someone could enlighten us with a shining recommendation. I see Ford is using 1.25 gallon containers so you only need 3, at a cost of $18.53 per.
It doesn't show on the front but i think it has a different rating than Cj4.
I remember seeing but not only skimming a TSB that came out at work that addressed that oil. If I remember right, the new diesels required that different rating whereas all the older fords, cummins, cats, and detroits did not. I did not read it because i do not have any new ford diesels that i maintain but can read it next week.
I could see that knocking an oil sample off if you perform those regularly.

Thank you. If all the new CK-4's have to meet Ford's F1 rating, it would seem it is the top of the lube chain. I am going with it next week if everything checks out. I have only used DELO 400, but they have not made the list YET.
