Insurance choice?

I had never thought of any insurance outside my standard policy holder. I got my dent for $1200, put about $1500 in parts and tires into it, thousands of hours in the garage and driveway, and got it insured for $5000. Hours spent aside (because we all enjoy working on them), I felt $5k would replace as is just fine. Adding it to my policy (Geico) which already had my daily driver and my motorcycle on it cost me an additional $11/year because of the multi-vehicle discounts. In the end I'm very happy with that. My truck will never appraise for $86k+ like the one above, but I'm happy with the coverage I've received at the price I'm paying.
