What are you guys doing for insurance? Liability? Full Coverage? Antique? Trying to figure out the best bet. Through state farm the difference between Liability and full coverage is a whopping $90 a year.
Antique policies tend to be pretty cheap (Grundy, Hagerty) but typically have mileage limitations like 3000 miles annually. Normal vehicle insurance my nt want to cover comp and collision reasonably. Depends on what you want to do with your truck? Best bet is to shop around.

Well you get what you pay for, if you're lucky. What do you think it's worth, versus what do you think they'll pay out if it's totaled in a collision?
The collector policies require the truck is stored in a locked garage, no street parking. And no daily driver use, just parades and car shows, maybe a Sunday pleasure drive, that kind of thing.
Thanks guys. I went ahead and bought the full coverage for now... but I am going to keep looking into it. They also (in Oklahoma) will let you use a period correct antique plate for the same year the vehicle was made. I have a 1975 plate I'd like to use. Just need to get it registered that way. Will check into the antique coverage then.
