2005 F150 Issues

Hey, I'm new to the forum and to be honest joined because I have an issue with my 05 F150 5.4 truck that myself and a couple other mechanics cannot figure out.

Basically after the truck ruck has been running awhile the entire right side of the engine goes dead. You can unplug the coils or injectors off every cylinder on the right bank and nothing changes.

I have already had the entire timing set changed, new oil pump, new coils, new plugs, new O2 sensors on that side, and cleaned out the Cats.

These are codes that the truck is throwing.

P0174 - system too lean bank 2
P0012 - intake camshaft position timing over retarded bank 1
P2196 - O2 sensor signal stuck rich bank 1 sensor 1
P0430 - catalyst system efficiency below threshold
P0021 - intake camshaft position timing over advanced bank 1
P2271 - O2 sensor signal stuck rich bank 1 sensor 2

If anyone can help out it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

it appears the cam position sensor or related is not working... that gives you the O2 codes and bad CAT code ............. 0174 is a vacuum leak on the DRIVERS side bank.

I would check the cam position sensor and wire / plug.

First lets establish that the right side is passenger side

Bank 1 is passenger side It is running rich ,that means its not firing -- dumping fuel into cats .
Have no idea of spark plug change out /boots . We always encourage this to be top notch first . Did you change boots and torque in 25-28 foot pounds . Many complaints of new sp515's bad out of box . I myself running 3rd set of champions . They are expensive . That said have you checked the harness to passenger side, is 12volts standing on each coil , the pcm supplies the pulse to grd .
Clean each coil connection and coil terminals real good . Squirrels and rats eat this harness .
