I need to remove the inner fender on passenger side of my 76 F250 4x4 to drill out a couple exhaust manifold bolts. Can it be removed without taking the grill and fender off? Thanks
I believe you'll find that you'll need to pull the hood, then the outer fender and finally the inner fender, the hood hinge is attached to the inner fender.
You could also cut a couple of holes in the inner fender and drill thru the hole if its close enough.
The only other way I can think of is using what is called a side drill and be a contortionist.
Darn man thats awesome, I might do that if i end up needing to take the fender off cause the bolts that mate the fender to the rad support are rusted bad.
Yes those nut plates the the bolts connect the (grill shell to fender) that are "clipped on" can strip/break in half and cause you all sorts of issues.
I took the long hard road to drill my broken bolts out the 1st time.. Next time off with the front clip.
