Window replacement?

Gentlemen,

I would like to replace my drivers side window. It has some deep scratches and with the windows tinted it really shows. Been looking for place to buy from but can't seem to find one. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

The only one I found was on Amazon but was trying to find one cheaper or with no shipping charge.

Thanks

Gilbert

See if you can find a local to you shop and see if they will match the net price.
Your also going to want to remove and at the least clean the outer wiper strip.
Sand and grit can get into the felt and scratch the glass.

The local shop I called wanted double the price. I should check other places as well.

Do you happened to know the part numbers to the wipers strips?

Thanks

Gilbert

I can see id the bags still have the Ford numbers on them.
One other place to try is the wrecking yards.

Could be that a complete door is cheaper than new glass - last time i did that i did the transplant on the kitchen table...

The last time I got door glass I think it was about $80.00 a side.

Appreciate all info. I may have lead to some glass of another truck but its a manual crank window. Does any one know if this makes a difference and if it would work on a power window set up?

Sorry about being slow on this little job.
Here are the part numbers for the front weather strips right and left.

F81Z-2521453-AA
F81Z-2521452-AA

I am not sure what one is right and left. But they only go in one way.
Not that hard to pop them out and back in.

If you don't replace then be sure to remove the old ones and give them
a scrubbing with a finger nail brush to remove any grit trapped in the felt.
