City: 12-13
Highway: 15-16. (65~70mph)

I live in a hilly area so I tend to be on the lower side. Best I've got was 16.5 and my global average since I bought it (trip 2 never reset) is 13.4.

250 XLT CCSB 4x4, 3.73 gears.
Trip 1 is round trip from central Indiana to Keweenaw County, Michigan. Trip 1 includes an hour slowdown around Madison Wisc. on 39.
Trip 2 is just the return portion of trip. I was fairly satisfied overall.

250, Crew Cab, Short Box, 6.2 / 3.73 with 1012 miles on it

Averaged 15.1 mpg on the highway with a family of four and all their gear and food for a week in the woods of Maine.

The payload sticker says 3015 lbs. and my truck has 3.73 rear. And I love it.

Nimrod - I think that the reason you didn't see much drop in mileage pulling the trailer is that basically didn't add to your frontal area. These trucks can haul all sorts of weight without affecting mileage much, if it doesn't present more wind resistance. Haven't had much change with the new truck, but with my old 5.4L 2010, I got the same 8mpg whether I was hauling my gooseneck horse trailer that weighed in at around 10k with horses in it, or my enclosed snowmobile trailer that weighed in at 2000 fully loaded. Even with the snowmobile trailer empty at barely 1000 lbs, I still got 8mpg. But both trailers significantly increased my frontal area.

I have just over 6k miles and averaging 13.2 driving around Houston. That's with 4.30 gears.

250 XLT ccsb 3.73: Two trips from Orlando, Fl. to Buffalo, NY so far which account for 50% of the total miles driven. Overall 15.3 with 14-14.5 around town here in flat Central Florida and 16 -16.5 on the highway.

Haven't towed a lot yet, just a couple of short trips to RV dealer with 9000 # travel trailer, yard waste to landfill and lumber yard.

I do not run the freeway empty much, but I did some yesterday.
Ended up with 15.2 MPG after 100 miles with the cruise set at 75 MPH.
This is the best I've seen so far with a little over 4300 miles on the truck.
