6.2 mpg?

Looking for mpg info on the 6.2 gasser? Looking an an F250 crew cab 4x4, don't need a diesel, but a gasser will suit my needs nicely.

Stepping up from a Sierra 1500.

Thanks,

Will

Averaging 11-12 MPG in mixed driving....but I just passed 1K miles so expecting it to creep up a bit as the miles increase.

I'm around 13 with a mix of city and highway. Creeps just over 14.5 with mostly highway driving.

i avg 12.1 running to work and back each day.. 3.5 miles downhill on the way there, 3.5 miles uphill on the way home..

If I hit the highway and cruise, I can manage a touch over 14..

That's with a CCLB 4x4 with 4.30 rear on 295/65-R20 Toyo Open Country AT2

just over 6k on the clock so far.

Back and forth to work, rural roads and some small town driving I'm averaging 14.
I have not taken any freeway trips yet.
Small sample, I've only got 1800 miles on it.

About the same MPG towing here too. We did an empty 100 mile RT the other night and got 16.5 MPG. Very pleased overall.

Gas

I have approx 4200 miles on mine so far.
Most driving is 12 miles of country roads and 2 lane each way to work. Average 13.9 MPG driving to work so far. Lifetime average is 12.0, but that includes about 400 miles of towing a 7800 lb travel trailer at about 7.5 MPG. The mileage has been slowly improving since delivery, but not sure how long that will continue. I do not drive much highway empty, but that has been about 15 so far.

Don't understand how everyone is getting such good mileage. I have a lighter truck than all of you and drive very conservative. I'm about 75% city 25% highway and getting 10.2.... you people are getting 15-35% better mileage.......?

Does the mileage magically increase after a specific number of miles? Sorry to be sarcastic but I would love to believe this is true lol
