Found an extremely clean 94 F350 4x4 single cab with less than 60k
What is a fair price? I know that's a rare truck now a days. Don't want to insult the guy but 28k sounds a "little high"
Thanks in advance
Tim
Thanks guys, I knew if I asked the right people I'd get a more realistic price. This truck is your classic old man truck that he bought to drive around in and park inside the garage. Less than 60k but it's emaculate. The only bummer is Ford thought red is a great color but RED everywhere? I'd have to break up the red with a grey seat cover and a floor mat, I'm afraid my road rage would kick in seeing all that red driving on the 101. He'll even the headliner is red!
What engine/transmission? 'Course, that would only determine whether $28k is just stupid crazy overpriced, or insane head-spinning pea-soup-spewing bat-s#!+ whacko overpriced. A PSD (therefore a '94.5 manual) XLT with those miles in pristine shape, lovingly maintained, _could_ be a $6-8k truck. Anything less (gasser, E4DOA, etc.) would be less accordingly. The most decked out '94.5 PSD wouldn't have gone for much more than $28k brand new.
28k is insane, unless the truck is really built up (which I doubt).
There is a 97 F-350 4x4 RCLB that is completely rust free a few miles from me. He started at 16k, and is now down to 12.5k and he still can't sell it (for good reason). These trucks even in perfect condition are worth about 7-8k AT THE MOST in stock form.
Now I wouldn't sell the 97 in my signature for less then 20k, but that is my "I don't want to sell it price"
