Compression test procedural question

I'd like to test compression on my '95 F250 351 motor. What's the best way to disable spark and fuel on this truck? Will it be OK to just unplug the PIP sensor from the distributor to disable spark? How do you shut off the fuel injectors? Thanks.

You can pull the fuel pump relay from the distribution box.

Also pulling the plug for the ignition coil will do the same for spark.

Best way is to remove the key. Then use a remote start switch on the relay. That way, only the start circuit is energized, none of the run circuits are.

Thanks! The remote starter switch is a good idea. I think I even have one that I haven't used in 10 years. I'll see if I can dig it up.
