fuel injection problems
Hi , I seem to have some fuel injection problems after trying to test out the front tank.
The front tank was never used by the original owner. Over the weekend I purposely let the rear tank run out of gas (probably my first mistke). I then flipped the switch to the front tank (w/gas in it) and nothing. I switched it back to the rear tank (with gas in it)and still nothing.
It seems to be getting fuel and I tried pouring a little down into the throttle body. It wanted to go over a few times but didnt quite make it around to starting.
Anyone here ever have a similer problem?

Hi folks, just wondering if anyone else has had this sort of problem.
I have a job to do with it Friday and although I went to highschool with my mechanic, he has six daughters to feed!

Letting the tank go empty will kill the fuel pump. The pump in the other tank is probably dead. When you switch tanks do you hear it start running. Have someone stand near it while you turn on the ignition switch. Good luck.
