Dash Pad Removal
>I was wondering if anyone knows how to take the dash pad off

Lucky dawg!! Mine doesn't have one.
Seriously. You've got your work cut out for ya. The dash is predominately 1 piece, with the exception of the gauge cluster, glove box, and ashtray. Haven't looked at mine closely lately but pulling or dropping the steering column for clearance comes to mind, along with disconnecting all electrical wiring, heater/defroster ducting, heater controls, radio......
AND THEN....you hope and pray your memory is good enough to be able to put it all back together without having any wires, connectors, screws, nuts or other fasteners left over.
This is NOT a 1 hr job. This will take you at least 3 hrs to do it correctly. Mark EVERYTHING!! BOTH ENDS!
