Baby Seat in an extended, supercab?

I've put both of these in the middle/rear seat before. It's tight but workable for one IMO. I just used our crew cab for a long road trip, and it was 1000x better room wise being able to put him behind the passenger seat, but the Super Cab works. Sometimes wife would sit in the back next to him, I would take the passenger headrest out so she could see/helps her motion sickness.
IIRC it's "illegal" (that word gets thrown around a lot, not sure if it's a primary offense but IMO it's a stupid risk) to put a rear-facing car seat in a front seat with an active airbag, there should be a switch you turn with the key to disable the airbag, but I would avoid it as best I could. Not an ideal situation, rear/center is much safer.

There should be a switch down by your right knee that turns the passenger airbag off. It was installed on regular cabs for the reasons you are anticipating. Not sure if switch is there on extended cab as you should have room in the rear to put the child seat. If no switch, you can order one and install it in a few minutes.

My kid is college aged now, so I've not had to try it in my extended cab. But eye balling the space in the back seat, it should fit in center of rear seat, but it will be tight. If not, worst case is put it behind the front passenger seat, and you may have to move the front seat forward a bit. Never in the front seat, whether you turn off the airbag or not.
And my '12 has the airbag shutoff switch too, I've just never turned it off.
