20" wheels question
I am looking to upgrade my wheels from my factory ones to some 20" and either 33's or 35's, and leaning towards 35's. I realize I may need to trim/modify my fenders a little to squeeze them in there. Problem is that the wheels that I really want are only available in 20x9 with 5" backspace and 0 offset. I'm worried that if I put a 35x12.5x20 on there that it will rub the springs. I also am kind of concerned with whether or not it will stick out past my factory flares (which I want just a little bit). Do you think it will be ok or should I look for something with a 4.5" backspace or some negative offset? Thanks for any help. I have been racking my brain with this for days!

id suggest 4-4.5" but if you realy want the rims with only 5" you could grab some 1 or 2 inch spacers for roughly 125-130$ per wheel from these guys Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings for your car! | Motorsport Tech

I just put factory 20" rims on mine with 35/12.50/20 tires. I have ATS V/C springs and 2" spacers. They rub just a little bit on the drivers side plastic inner fender at full turn. I'm going to try and trim it a bit.
I do think they look good and fill out the fender well nice. The tires I got came on the rims when I bought them. I'm torn when I get new tires between the 35's and the stock size of 275/65/20.

It's tough to find an all black wheel with the correct backspacing! It seems like most wheels nowadays are geared towards the newer vehicles, as far as backspacing goes, which is understandable. How are the spacers for towing applications? I did a search but couldn't find a whole lot about it.
