Wire loom
What are you guys using to protect your wires?
I bought the plastic split loom (like OEM) to wrap some accessory wires I added, but the stuff I used iws now brittle and is now crumbing off. It's been 5 to 10 years, but I still expect this stuff to last. I have to redo everything now.
BTW the factory plastic wire loom (engine and under dash) where used is 35 years old now and still flexible, so I assume there are just so many crappy parts being sold its near impossible to get a quality product anymore - unless you know which brand name to use.
How about the fabric-like nylon split loom. I just got a roll - but I'm not sure if it will hold up better over time. Has anyone used this stuff?

Is it the "woven or braided" loom like shown in the links, or the hard plastic loom like the factory used?
