I've got a 2002 Excursion that was converted to a manual (ZF6 swap). I finally got the cruise figured out. I jumpered pin 29 on the PCM to the RD/YL wire off Connector 212 at the fuse box (hot when run). This tells the PCM the clutch is out. I bought a clutch safety switch and would like to wire it in so the cruise disabled when the clutch is pushed like the factory pickups. The Excusions were not built with the clutch switch plug like the auto trucks since they were not ever offered with a manual.
Anyone have a wrecked truck they wouldn't mind cutting the clutch switch plug out of? I'd be happy to buy one off someone that has one. I've got the wires run just need to tie them into a plug.
Beleive it or not I think I found it on Amazon. Dealer wanted $62, local yards want $50+ and can't give me a straight answer if they have one or not. $38 shipped on Amazon....and it's the Motorcraft part.
