c-6 trans cooling

Using a c-6 behind a mildly built 460... did not include trans cooler in aluminum radiator...

question : will a frame mounted 2 pass finned aluminum trans cooler give me enough cooling for this transmission ?? No racing or pulling or heavy duty towing... just a cruiser...

No, it won't. A 2 pass finned cooler is nearly useless. Get a stacked plate cooler, they are MUCH more efficient.

can you recommend one ?? I've really got no room in front of the radiator and the a/c evap so a frame mounted one will have to do... perhaps with a fan ??

Your radiator wouldn't happen to have a trans cooler inside, would it? That would be the best choice. If not, something like a Hayden Automotive 679 should work much better than a two pass cooler. A fan may be necessary, I have no experience with frame mounted coolers.

I finally went with a Derale 13096 fan assist cooler... now I'm looking for best remote filter kit
