I have a plain black grill on my 2016 F150. I'm thinking of customizing the grill to give it a distinctive look. Have any of you customized your grills to make them stand out from the stock Version? I'm thinking of adding polished button head bolts across all three bars to give it a mean look. Thanks, Jag
I don't know about the button heads--it sounds like a cool idea, but it could turn into one of those things that ends up looking different from how you imagined it.
Which grill do you have; the XL grille, or the Lariat grille used with the Sport package?
One idea would be painting the smaller ribs or pieces of mesh inside the grille body color, but leaving the major exposed parts (such as the 3 bars and border) black. It would be custom, but would still look understated and almost factory.
Nice! I thought about putting a bumper bracket on the front but it would make my truck too long to fit in the garage! I'm leaning toward adding SS button head bolts to the grill make it look armored. Jag
