Question Lincoln Mark LT Grille Decision?

I have an all black 04 F150 Lariat 4x4.One of the things I have liked least about the truck is the Arizona Beige color honeycomb grille.I have even had the gold color 4x4 decals replaced with silver decals.Anyway, I have an interest in replacing my grille with a Lincoln Mark LT grille.I am wondering what your thoughts and opinions are about doing this swap?I have looked at almost every aftermarket grille available and would prefer the Lincoln grille over them. Please respond with your honest thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

Carguy, You can view the Lincoln grille at www.Lincoln.com.Do you know where I could view the new Lightning grille you mentioned?I didn't think a F150 Lightning was being produced anytime soon .Did you mean the Harley F150 by chance? Thanks for the feedback!

Why not just change the stock grill to a billet type grill. Bet that Lincoln grill is going to cost! Beside a Lincoln grill on a Ford, what are you trying to prove?

I'm sure he meant the Harley grille. I have a black lariat as well, I haven't cared for the gold much either. As for the Lincoln can you just use the center waterfall part and not the outside trim part with the Linclon logo?

I took a real close look at the Harley Davidson F150 grille.I really like it too.I think it is sportier looking than the Lincoln grille and doesn't have the Lincoln logo on it.Does anyone know when it will be available? Thanks!

Lincoln grill would be cool. I actually like the stock black cross bars of my STX grill. Most the trucks in my area have the billet grills, and I like my truck to be a little different. I probably won't bother with the Lincoln but I would like to see someone do it.

Who cares whether its a Lincoln grill or a Weber grill. If someone likes the way it looks thats all that should be important. It would be hard to believe someone would add a Lincoln grill to an already very expensive truck just for the sake of trying to make a snooty statement.

Nope its a dressed up 150, but if you want a Lincoln go buy a Lincoln, if you want to dress up the 150 use the other dress up mods! If you want a Lincoln towncar go buy a Lincoln town car and not a Mercury Marquis and put a town car grill on it!

I certainly would not mean to make a snoody statement by swapping out plastic grilles.Anyway, I asked for opinions and that is exactly what I am getting.Keep'em coming!Since looking deeper and calling L/M,the parts guy at the Lincoln Mercury dealership told me that he thinks the Lincoln mounting is different and may not mount/align with my Lariat chrome grille surround?I do not want to have to change my surround. He said I would also need a VIN number from the Lincoln it was going on before he could order it???Since this post I have found a billet type of interest to me, but am still going to go into L/M parts dept to find out if it is interchangeable.Thank You all for your thoughts and opinions!Keep them coming!

The Town Car grille will not fit on the Gr.Marq. because if it did I would put it on my dad's Gr.Marq., only because I think it is sharper not because of the badge. I do not think you are comparing apples to apples with Town Car and Gr. Marq. However, the F150 and Lincoln Mark LT come off of the SAME tree!
