Exhaust system suggestions

Looking to finally replace / upgrade my stock exhaust system on my 2002 F350. I daily drive it and live in a very residential area, and haul my family so volume and cab noise is a concern for me. I tow a car trailer with a Jeep Cherokee (6000 - 6500 lbs) once a month for about 100 miles to the local off road park and then run back and for to my cabin a few times a year, so I do not see much heavy hauling. Been looking at a 4" turbo back setup. Stainless steel is my preferred material and I do want a muffler. I have been looking at the ones that RiffRaff has available, but need some suggestion as far as performance and ease of installation. Single outlet or duals? I know that this is like the debate on tires and brakes, but need some opinions. TIA. THANKS!

I've been running the Magnaflow 4" turbo back for many years. I had zero fitment issues and it's a pretty quiet exhaust as far as diesels go. I hear more engine noise than exhaust noise. I tow a heavy 38'travel trailer and drone has never been an issue.

Earl, before you buy a kit on-line to install on your truck I suggest you take a trip to your local exhaust shop. They should be able to match, if not beat the price of an aftermarket kit. Plus, you generally get a warranty on the work provided.

I've had a 4" turbo back from MBRP for 8 years, very satisfied.

Why do you need bigger exhaust ?
I still run factory, Muffler removed with a pass through silencer. And I pull 10,000 lb 5th wheel around. 9 years this year.
Just asking.

I tried that when I was first looking at an exhaust and found that most shops couldn't mandrel bend pipes over 3" in-house. That's why I went with a kit.

I have been happy with mine for several years. Mine is T-409 with a muffler and I also live in a residential area as well. My engine makes more noise than the exhaust at neighborhood speeds.

The only real restrictions that I know of are the bend in the downpipe (not a mandrel bend) and the muffler. Many have replaced their muffler with the Walker Big Truck Muffler. As for downpipe, my 4" one barely fits. I don't know how a bigger exhaust fits unless they flare out at the end of the downpipe.

Just asking.
My old one is due to be replaced. Muffler is split and will not pass the wonderful PA state inspection. I would like to step up to stainless for longevity reasons.

Just bought and about to fit 4" MBRP with muffler delete.

Look into Diamond eye too, they have a great price on SS turbo back systems.

Fsj earl, i too am looking at what kit to buy for my 01 7.3L. Muffler is split, 152,000 miles. I wouldn't mind a little more rumble than quiet to drown out the engine noise.
