Looking for a New Exhaust System

I have a 2000 F-350 SC Dually 7.3 turbo. I am interested in upgrading the exhaust system. The previous owner took out the muffler I suppose for performance. Should I put one back in? And I have looked uynder the truck and seems kind of tight up by the turbo on the back of the motor. Is a new exhaust going to require my fire wall modified? Which exhuast is best recommended?

I like the "Banks" unit myself. The price is in line with the rest of the aftermarket Mfg.'s and I'm told their customer servise is outstanding. Just my thoughts. Jeff in NM...OUT

Some call it a six-pack, I call it a support group.

"Should I put one back in?"

not unless the noise bothers you.

"Is a new exhaust going to require my fire wall modified?"

Nope. If it's really tight in there, you may already have an aftermarket downpipe. The stocker is 3" has crappy looking welds, and a heat shield on it.

"Which exhuast is best recommended?"

Pretty subjective. I've gotten good prices and excellant service from http://www.xxxxxxxx.com/

OK guys, lets not provide free advertizing for the competition. Motor Haven provides quality parts and service at competitive prices AND supports this website.
