Something different

I had a very different delivery experience.
My salesman spent approx one hour with me at delivery. He inspected every inch of the truck with me, and was pissed that the service department left a dusty foot print on the new Line-X bed liner.
We then went over the interior and tested every function. He helped me set up Sync, downloaded my phonebook, set the stereo presets, checked the seatbelt fit, and adjusted the headrest. He also set the seat memory after we made the adjustments. We also went through all the dashboard functions.

He said that his opinion was the customer needs to be completely happy with their vehicle inside and out and know how it all works before they leave the lot.

He is the top salesman at the dealer, with many repeat customers.

An excellent experience to say the least.

Very glad you had a great salesman.. Where is the dealership and the salesman's name, any sales person willing to go the extra mile deserve a shout out and recognition..

Far to may sales people just do not care.

See, that would annoy me. Being that I work in IT and I'm a car guy, I can figure out how to run all the controls. I just would be pleased if the dealer checked that everything worked and there was no damage *before* I came in to pick up the vehicle.
