Hello,
Looking at newer trucks and am interested in a 2013 f150 Lariat with Factory Navigation. What is the consensus on Factrory Nav? How much do the updates cost? How often? Is this a DIY deal or dealer only?
I have an 04 right now with aftermarkert 7" touchscreen radio and Google Maps with Android auto. It works well and is always up to date with no additional cost. I'd like to have NAV, so an alternative to factory may be to buy a more basic truck and put my current unit in it, but am currently leaning away from this.
i have a 2013 Lariat with the Ford navigation system. It works well. The last time I updated it I think it was $125. Thats a little pricy. I have yet to figure out how to set lat/long as a destination or waypoint. Most other features are available that you find on other GPS's.
