Are you saying pins 1 and 2?
Yes, I couldn't remember for the life of me. Yes I meant pins 1 and 12.

If you have power at Pin 12 , but not Pin 1 that means the splice may be bad or an open wire between the splice and the connector.

That splice is referred to S122 in my manual. The location is listed as "Engine control sensor harness, near T/O to brake warning resistor/diode assembly".

Right now I have no idea what T/O is referring to.

My 1992 Ford EVTM shows this as the circuit diagram:

Bill is the Ford guru, but my 1992 Ford EVTM matches your description of the wiring on your truck.

Well, if you're sure you have no power on pin 1 and power on pin 12, you have an open between the connector and that splice.

t/o = take out, where a harness branches out.

Thank you Rla and Heavy for the good information. I ebayed that manual so hopefully it gets here soon so I can flip through it. I have a hard time figuring out the diagrams and locating certian areas without physically ripping the harness apart.

OOPS.
The diagram I posted was for a 1995 F-series and I though 92 was the same without looking.
Looking at the diagram I would think C110 would be a good place to look for the problem.

I don't know how I missed this... Alright so where do I find the gauge of wire to fix this mess? Anything I should know before I start?

Also this is very alarming to me as well. It seems to be a sensor yet there are no wires near by or any signs that wires were ever near? (Edit) So I guess this is the vss on this truck. Yet I don't see any electrical connector near or the other speedo connector... Suggestions?

The photo of the VSS on the transmission is a transmission from a 1991 or older truck.
Someone has replaced your transmission with one from an older truck.
Your VSS is on the rear end (third member) in the center of the truck.

As for the wiring I would just go to a salvage yard and get the harness that runs from the drivers fender to the passenger side of the transmission.
I picked up one of those harness when I built my transmission tester.

I went to a few of the local yards today and while f250s are common it seems a intact harness is not. Anyone happen to know the size of the wires? My next step is cutting a small section out and trying to match them at autozone.

The 1992 and 1994 have the same wiring diagram for that part of the circuit so I will post the wiring for you.
As you can see the wires are 16 and 18 GA wires.

Alright I fixed the broken wires and now pin 1 reads 12v like pin 12. However now I put my meter to ohms and am just getting ol on the meter when I pin 1 red 2,3,4,5 black. Which I guess means open loop? I set it to 200 and 2000 ohms. Am I missing something?

Set to 20k Ohms
pin1-2 10.51 Steady (Doesn't drop to 0)
pin1-3 10.45 Steady
pin 1-4 10.60 Steady
pin 1-5 10.08 Steady

pin 12- 11 5.90 steady
pin 12- 10 o.l steady
pin 12- 9 o.l steady
pin 12-8 0.93 steady
pin 12-7 13.48 steady

Is this good or bad?
